MACHINE OPERATOR
FOAM POURING OPERATOR
Monday - Friday, mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed
4:00 am - until job complete
$17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up foam pouring line
- Pump and transfer chemicals
- Operate gauge board, cut-off saw and vacuum booth
- Unload from railroad cars
- Any general clean up required
- Follow all quality/safety requirements and procedures
- Keep a clean and orderly workplace
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/lead person
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process
- Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Verify the implementation of solutions,
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
- Initiate solutions to a quality-related problem by communicating the problem to management. The success of a solution to a quality problem is verified by internal quality audits and management review
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate gauge board, cut-off saw, vacuum booth
- Must be able to stand and bend for long periods of time
