PRESS OPERATOR
Monday – Friday, Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
7:00 am -3:30 pm
$17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment in a work environment that requires PPE to mold products used in downstream processes while meeting specification and production requirements.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Effectively and efficiently communicate with employees and management to meet production demands
- Safely and consistently operate process and mechanical equipment such as injection presses, compression presses, alternate presses, overhead hoists, pallet jacks and other equipment as required
- Effectively utilize measuring tools such as scales, calipers, rulers and other tools as required
- Adhere to company policies, standard work procedures and job safety standards, including required PPE
- Support preventative maintenance program efforts
- Produce products within specifications and production requirements
- Maintain product identification and traceability
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain housekeeping as designated.
- Support compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies
- Capable of forklift certification
- Ability to function with occasional supervision while meeting deadlines
- Basic oral and written communication
- Basic computer and arithmetic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level 0-3 years job related experience
- Able to consistently lift and push up to 50 pounds
