Job Description

PRODUCTION CONTROL 
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 4:00 pm 
$20.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Review standard and special production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine and prioritize material and manpower needs.
  • Adjust and revise production schedules to address shortages, equipment downtime, backlogs, or engineering changes.
  • Distribute work orders and production schedules to departments and monitor progress to ensure on-time completion.
  • Inspect project documents, materials, and finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Record and maintain production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and quality control reports.
  • Track and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly inventories of raw materials and supplies; request additional materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, shipping, and purchasing teams to resolve issues affecting workflow or delivery.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations and production scheduling.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with all levels of production staff.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and recommend solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or related software.
  • Willingness to work in an industrial environment with exposure to production areas.
