PREP ROOM TECH
Monday - Friday
6:30 am - 4:30 pm, mandatory overtime
$15.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure accuracy of raw materials as listed on prep formulas
- Ensure that allergens and non-allergens are measured separately
- Label all raw ingredients to include partials
- Document all spoilage and notify QA
- Practice safe usage of all equipment
- Work safely while lifting and operating equipment
- Perform duties while understanding and observing company policies on food safety, product quality and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Prep Room and Holding Room
- Other job duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform basic reading and math computations needed for the accuracy of measuring raw materials
- Operating knowledge of pallet jack, immersion blender, pneumatic can opener, slurry tank and meat grinder
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have good listening and communication skills
- Must be able to work well with others as a team member
- Basic literacy and basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment
