Job Description

PLANNER
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 2:30 pm
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Confirm and approve dimensions, notes, and features on customer drawings.
  • Create and/or approve internal drawings to verify design feasibility and tolerance accuracy.
  • Evaluate and approve materials and manufacturing processes for complex assemblies.
  • Collaborate with Operations to develop and maintain Work Instructions (WI), Routers, and BOMs.
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials based on production schedules.
  • Recommend and implement process changes to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Collect data, analyze results, and report process improvement outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and manage automation projects.
  • Design and document new or enhanced equipment/devices using SolidWorks.
  • Oversee fabrication and qualification of new devices, including installation, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and revise detailed work instructions to support manufacturing operations.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience in manufacturing or production planning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and the ability to create technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.
  • Familiarity with BOMs, routers, and process documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting and filing duties.
