Job Description

FIREWOOD PALLET STACKER
Monday - Sunday 
8:00 am - 5:00 pm 
$17.00 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Stack firewood neatly and securely on pallets according to size and quality standards. 
  • Sort firewood by size, type, and condition before stacking. 
  • Inspect wood and remove debris, nails, wire, or other foreign materials. 
  • Wrap, band, or secure completed pallets for storage and shipment. 
  • Move firewood and materials by hand or with approved equipment. 
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and staging customer orders. 
  • Monitor stacked pallets for stability, accuracy, and overall quality. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe outdoor work area. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. 
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards. 
  • Assist with general yard and production duties as needed. 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in production, lumber, landscaping, construction, farming, or outdoor labor is preferred. 
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50–75 pounds. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and twist for extended periods. 
  • Ability to safely use basic tools and material-handling equipment. 
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and pallet stability. 
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and overtime as needed. 
  • Steel-toe boots and other required personal protective equipment must be worn.
