QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR
Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm Must be available to work overtime.
$18.50 - $20.00 per hour, DOE
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Inspector inspects and measures a variety of molded, finished, fabricated, and assembled products. The inspector checks for conformance to the product requirements. The inspector evaluates these defects and follows written procedures to process defective material thru rejection and repair where needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Inspect all products and interpret all specifications.
- Provide support for all internal department supervisors and/or managers.
- Responsible for ISO 9001 and Corrective Action process.
- Responsible for Quality System reporting process
- Responsible for inspecting incoming material.
- Responsible for maintaining all internal calibration equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Technical training, college degree, or acceptable work history preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and orally communicate in English and some Spanish preferred. Instrumentation.
- Ability to proficiently operate all equipment used for Quality control / assurance, as well as have a working knowledge of the controls and instruments of machinery in production areas.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and LN required.
- Ability to design clear, concise reports, correspondence, and procedures.
- Computer skills, M630, Excel, Word.
- Capable of reading blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Capable of reading measurement tools such as calipers, dial indicators, angle finders and tape measures.
- Improve through guidance and outside influence.

- Must be able to walk, stand, and climb stairs for 8-12 hour shifts.

- Position requires dexterity of hands and fingers to use hand/ power tools, and precise measuring equipment.
