Quality Assurance Manager – Refrigeration Systems - Direct Hire
Monday – Thursday
6:00 am – 4:00 pm
$ 55K – 80K annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in commercial refrigeration manufacturing to lead our Quality Control department. This position is responsible for driving product quality, leading a team of quality professionals, resolving technical issues, improving manufacturing processes, and partnering with Engineering and Production to ensure high-quality refrigeration systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure all quality procedures, testing protocols, and documentation standards are consistently followed.
- Develop, implement, and improve QC processes, SOPs, and inspection procedures
- Analyze quality issues, warranty trends, and field failures to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Lead root cause investigations and implement solutions to reduce repeat issues and improve product reliability
- Manage and develop the QC team, including training, performance coaching, and workload coordination
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Tech Support, and Purchasing to resolve quality issues and improve products
- Oversee incoming inspection and supplier quality, including non-conformance resolution
- Maintain accurate QA documentation, including test records, photos, and job traveler completion
- Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and safety across all operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration manufacturing systems.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents
- Proven leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead teams and processes
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and sound judgement
- Knowledge of safety, quality, electrical troubleshooting, and productivity processes
- Proficient with MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word, and Access
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs., crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
