RECEIVING CLERK
Monday - Friday 
7:00 am - 3:30 pm 
$16.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage and coordinate shipments for the Millsap warehouse orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Handle all paperwork associated with shipping duties and maintain accurate records.
  • Input data into the company's ERP system and commercial freight carrier shipping systems.
  • Prepare invoices, calculate freight costs, and assist in the movement of shipments as needed.
  • Provide support to the warehouse team, assisting with processing to maintain efficient service.
  • Obtain and maintain shipping documentation, coordinate with carriers, and schedule pick-up of goods.
  • Verify that orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through thorough audits.
  • Assess needs related to shipping points, services, weights, freight permits, and other required information.
  • Initiate, respond to, and document tracer inquiries via email and fax.
  • Assist in escorting visitors safely throughout the facility.
  • Assemble packaging materials and package products according to instructions for shipment.
  • Confirm the physical shipment of goods and facilitate package tracking.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative, customer service, or warehouse logistics environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (team lift required for items over 50 pounds).
