REFIRE WARE HANDLER
Monday – Thursday, mandatory overtime as needed
6:00 am - 4:30 pm
$20.21 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Loads refire ware into kiln cars
- Unloads refires ware from kiln cars
- Cleans kiln cars after unloading
- Observes ware to detect any defects or possible problems
- Exercises care in handling ware to minimize defects and breakage
- Maintains work area e.g. cleans up, keeps materials, equipment, etc. in clean working condition
- Practices and follows all required safety regulations
- Performs all duties as assigned by supervision
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to follow general instructions
- Must have a working knowledge of ware handling system and loading of kiln cars
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day
- Must be able to work in hot/dirty/dusty environments
