MATERIAL HANDLER – Rover Handler
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
$17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identify and verify metal materials using loading lists, work orders, and supervisor instructions.
- Load and stage materials for flatbed trucks, customer vehicles, and other transportation equipment.
- Operate a forklift to safely move, position, and arrange materials.
- Wrap, strap, secure, and label products according to shipping procedures.
- Verify materials and quantities to ensure orders are accurate and complete.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and loading instructions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping needs.
- Adapt to changing assignments and priorities throughout the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred.
- Ability to read and follow loading lists, work orders, and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to judge distance, space, and material placement accurately.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced material-handling environment.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to follow supervisor direction.
