PARTS SALESPERSON

Saturday (rotating Saturdays)
8:00 am - 12:00 pm
$37,440 - $45,000 per year
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist customers in identifying, selecting, and purchasing replacement or spare parts
- Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility, substitutions, and features
- Process parts orders via phone, in-person, and electronic systems with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain inventory by labeling, organizing, tracking, and auditing parts stock
- Coordinate with service, sales, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Place parts orders and follow up on backordered items and customer requests
- Prepare sales slips, manage payments, and process refunds or exchanges as needed
- Operate parts catalog systems and dealership management software to locate part numbers and availability
- Ensure parts department cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance
- Occasionally deliver or load parts for customers and company vehicles
- Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1–2 years of experience in parts sales; agricultural or automotive industry preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment or mechanical systems and part functionality
- Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and technical documentation
- Proficient in computer systems including Microsoft Office and inventory software
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies, equipment models, and changing customer needs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbs regularly
