JOB SUMMARY
The Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing telecommunications projects from initiation to completion. This role involves managing construction teams, maintaining project schedules, controlling budgets, and ensuring all work meets established quality and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Project Oversight: Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications.
- Team Management: Lead, coordinate, and motivate construction personnel to maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that all work meets required quality standards and adheres to applicable regulations, codes, and safety protocols.
- Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; monitor progress and proactively adjust plans to address issues or delays.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to company and regulatory safety guidelines; conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams, providing regular updates and promptly addressing concerns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of prior construction supervisory experience, preferably in telecommunications or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience with rural utility projects.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to project sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting at $60,000 annually, with increases based on experience.
- Travel Per Diem: Per diem expenses provided when travel is required.
