JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping Associate is responsible for receiving, processing, packaging, and shipping products while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and visible damage.
- Process and record receiving and shipping transactions using company systems.
- Prepare, label, and package products for shipment according to established procedures.
- Verify shipping documentation and ensure accurate tracking of inventory and materials.
- Safely handle, tag, and store products and containers in designated areas.
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
