Job Description

SHIPPING ASSOCIATE
Monday - Friday 
6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
$18.00 per hour 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment following work instructions and customer specifications 
  • Read shipping orders and verify materials before packaging 
  • Build wooden crates and select appropriate packaging materials for safe transport 
  • Operate saws and other packaging equipment safely and efficiently 
  • Load trucks and assist with outgoing shipments 
  • Complete shipping paperwork and maintain accurate records 
  • Enter shipping information into the ERP/computer system 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • High school diploma or GED preferred 
  • Previous shipping, warehouse, or packaging experience is a plus 
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions 
  • Basic math and computer skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely 
  • Forklift experience is a plus
