SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR
Monday - Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Create shipping documents, bills of lading, and work orders.
- Schedule shipments and coordinate with carriers.
- Record shipment information, damages, and inventory discrepancies.
- Move materials using a Big Joe Straddle Stacker forklift.
- Maintain shipping supplies and inventory.
- Process customer orders and sales entries.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide order updates.
- Assist distributors, sales representatives, and customers.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records in the ERP system.
- Support the Customer Service Manager with daily operations.
- Travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, or training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or customer service preferred.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn company products and systems.
