Job Description

STAFF ACCOUNTANT 
Monday - Friday 
7:00 am - 3:30 pm 
$24.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
  • Process daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records 
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities 
  • Record and apply customer payments (ACH, wire transfers, portal payments) in ERP system 
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices based on shipping documentation 
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances 
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with customers and internal teams 
  • Process credit memos and returns in coordination with customer service and quality teams 
  • Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations 
  • Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and financial reports 
  • Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and internal financial reports 
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and operations to support financial processes 
  • Assist with onboarding new customers by gathering credit and financial information 
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure data confidentiality 
  • Follow company accounting procedures and compliance standards 
  • Provide general support to the Controller as needed
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience 
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP) 
  • Experience with ERP systems 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
