Leading staffing agency committed to matching outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities is currently seeking a motivated and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations within our office and providing comprehensive support in our staffing efforts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Answer phones and communicate with applicants in a direct, friendly manner
- Follow the standard recruiting and human resources policies, practices, and procedures
- Enter and maintain integrity of data in the applicant tracking system
- Source, recruit, screen, interview, and assess a high volume of candidates across multiple job opening/requisitions
- Communicate interview details to candidate, making certain they have all of the information necessary (detailed directions, dress code, interview logistics, etc.)
- Manage internal candidates, including screening, coordination of interviews
- Administer pre -employment testing where applicable and compare qualifications to job requirements for exempt and non -exempt roles
- Coordinate background checks and new-hire drug testing for qualified candidates
- Act as a consistent point of contact for candidates during hiring process to ensure timely feedback and an optimal experience
- Submit offer request for review and approval. Follow-up with candidate regarding offer details
- Close out job requisitions in the applicant tracking system and follow-up with candidates who interviewed that were not extended an offer
- Complete weekly reports on employment activity
- A faster than average work pace is necessary, combined with impatience for results. Follow-up of delegated work must be very thorough
- Change is an ongoing occurrence of this job and will be approached conservatively and with the support and guidance of management
- Invoicing/Payroll Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Customer Services skills
- Must be bilingual - Spanish speaking
- Strong Computer skills
- Must be detail oriented with strong Time Management Skills
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Human Resource experience a plus
- Payroll experience is recommended
- 2 week out of town training is required
