Job Description

STEEL DETAILER
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Create accurate blueprints and detailed drawings for steel frames, metal buildings, and roofing components.
  • Use AutoCAD and Tekla to draft and modify structural steel designs.
  • Ensure drawings meet project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to resolve design issues.
  • Review and revise drawings as needed to support project changes.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla drafting software (required).
  • Strong knowledge of steel detailing and structural drafting practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must provide sample drawings with time-to-complete details along with resume submission.
