WELDER/FABRICATOR
Monday - Thursday
7:00 am - 5:30 pm
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Per diem available for qualified candidates relocating from out of town.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding on structural and industrial materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate production
- Fabricate, fit, assemble, and weld metal components and equipment to specifications
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, press brakes, grinders, and band saws
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and compliance with company standards
- Grind, sand, and clean welded surfaces for a finished appearance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures
- Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Perform repair welding and occasional field work at job sites as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred; technical or welding certification is a plus
- Previous experience in welding, fabrication, or structural manufacturing environments preferred
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Core welding processes
- Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
- Knowledge of welding safety practices, materials, and quality standards
- Ability to pass welding tests and demonstrate strong fabrication skills
- Experience using fabrication and measuring equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed
