INDUSTRIAL MAINTENACE TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday, overtime mandatory
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$24.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using diagrams, manuals, sketches, and testing instruments.
- Observe equipment in operation to locate issues using precision measuring tools.
- Dismantle and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
- Inspect, measure, and determine replacement or adjustment needs of machine parts.
- Adjust machinery and instruments using appropriate tools and alignment equipment.
- Communicate and instruct production staff on routine maintenance protocols.
- Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop equipment.
- Manage equipment and parts inventory; order supplies as needed.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment trends or issues.
- Stay current with maintenance best practices through continued education and technical resources.
- Ensure proper shift-to-shift communication of maintenance issues and resolutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Support team operations by completing additional maintenance and yard tasks as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience required.
- 1–2 years of electrical experience.
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects (with or without accommodations).
- Proficient in use of hand and power tools.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience routing and connecting electrical harnesses.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work through interruptions.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
