Perform open root 1/8” TIG welding, Auto MIG, and Sub Arc welding on 22”–38” diameter pipe with 2” wall thickness
Operate welding tools in accordance with complex technical specifications
Plan, sequence, and execute welding operations independently
Monitor welding processes and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications
Identify and report welding issues or malfunctions promptly
Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols during operations
Mentor and provide guidance to junior welders as needed
Serve as a technical lead for complex welding assignments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
2–3 years of welding experience, with a focus on: Open root 1/8” TIG welding; Auto MIG welding; Sub Arc welding; Welding on 22”–38” diameter pipe with 2” wall thickness
Strong knowledge of welding procedures, blueprints, and inspection standards
Ability to work independently or lead a small welding team
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
Strong adherence to safety standards and best practices
