TELECOMMUNICATIONS LINEMAN CREW LEAD
Direct Hire Position
Monday – Friday
7:00 am – 4:00 pm
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Direct a team of linemen, ground workers, and apprentices to ensure project completion is safe, timely, and high-quality.
- Assign daily responsibilities, set goals, and monitor performance against deadlines and standards.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship; enforce safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground fiber optic and telecommunications lines.
- Lead splicing, troubleshooting, and testing operations to ensure system integrity.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; ensure proper usage and upkeep.
- Track materials, tools, and labor used on each job site for accurate reporting and accountability.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years as a Lineman, with supervisory or leadership experience.
- Expertise in overhead/underground fiber and telecom line work.
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage projects effectively.
- Proficient in cable splicing, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Strong understanding of OSHA and industry safety regulations.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Required
- Lineman certification or equivalent – Required
- First Aid/CPR certification – Preferred
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Climb poles/towers and work at heights or in confined spaces.
