Job Description

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
Monday – Friday 
8:00 am  - 5:00 pm 
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
 
  • Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving tasks to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and stage materials for job orders based on customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Process, organize, and manage inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and documentation.
  • Interact with customers professionally via phone and in person to address inquiries and provide updates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse, including the proper use of ladders, lifts, and hand tools.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, once certified.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting with office tasks and supporting team members.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Proficient in basic office and computer tasks, including Microsoft Office applications, web browsing, and Amazon platforms.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 75–100 pounds regularly.
  • Strong communication skills, including basic phone etiquette.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed and travel during the day for work-related tasks.
  • Comfortable with climbing stairs and using ladders and lifts.
  • Ability to complete training and obtain forklift certification within the required timeframe.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and their safe use.
