Processing all internal moves including pulling material from one location and storing it inanother location.
Communicate difficult issues or problems to manager.
Utilize mobile communication equipment in a safe and practical way following company policies and standards.
Utilize handheld bar code scanner and related PC as required with Company inventorysystems.
Responsible for organizing, loading, and unloading material as required at company with theuse of flatbeds and hand trucks.
Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a production-oriented environment and perform against established performance standards.
Able to work in a physically demanding environment that includes climbing stairs, ability to lift materials weighing up to 40 pounds, and using electric and manual pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Applicants should be able to complete paperwork accurately and completely and understandthe importance of detail and accuracy.
Valid forklift certification – Training will be provided by company
Ability to adhere to and enforce all security procedures.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Past warehouse experience in a service industry and/or a team focused environment preferredbut not required for position.
