WAREHOUSE WAREHANDLER LOADER
Monday - Friday
6:30 am - 3:00 pm, mandatory overtime as needed
$21.44 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Picks ware from warehouse location for shipment on LTL, common carrier, or Fleet transfer.
- Loads product into truck with correct placement to avoid breakage, damage or loss.
- Receives A-1 ware from Packing Departments into warehouse locator system.
- Receives and delivers materials from outside suppliers to respective departments or persons.
- Keeps equipment in good working condition and advises supervision when repairs or maintenance is necessary.
- Practices good safety and housekeeping rules.
- Performs daily cycle counts as directed by supervision.
- Secure trailers for loading using wheel chalks and cones to communicate with the spotter drivers.
- Performs duties using either a standup forklift or a sit-down forklift.
- Repetitive lifting of finished ware to build pick pallets for shipment.
- Pull pallets to consolidate tubs per pallet. Stacking heavy pallets for reuse in production
- Be able to operate RF devices for accurate shipping of products. Confirming product is loaded, making tickets, and making certain cuts if necessary.
- Perform overpack duties, fabricate corners, building boxes, and transferring product to boxes.
- Performs all duties as assigned by supervision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma is desirable.
- Forklift experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Requires long periods of standing and repetitive climbing on and off the fork truck.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Repetitive lifting pulling pallets, building pick pallets, and overpacking.
- Must possess basic math skills to perform daily cycle count calculations.
- Must be able to operate RF devices for shipment accuracy.
- Must be able to pass forklift training for standup and sit-down forklifts to receive the necessary licensing to perform job duties.
- Operate in hot and cold weather environments.
