Job Description

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE 
Monday – Friday 
7:30 am – 4:00 pm
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 
  • Pulling orders and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and order.  
  • Receiving Inbound shipments
  • Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.
  • Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
  • Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
  • Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product.
  • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Operates forklift truck, power equipment, tractors /mowers and electric/gas power equipment.
  • Operates Warehouse Equipment to package and load product onto outgoing carriers.
  • Documents all related activities via Signed Packing Lists and Finalized Shipments
  • Other Maintenance Responsibilities to Include: Cleaning, Mowing / Trimming Grounds, Power Washing / Cleaning Product and Building when required.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with Saws and Cutting equipment for minor fabrication of product. 
  • Carpentry Skills a Major Plus / Mechanical Skills a Major Plus
  • Ability to operate forklift truck, power equipment, tractors /mowers and electric/gas power equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck required.
  • At least two years of work experience in a warehouse preferred.  
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
