ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Gather materials and fabricate parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, grind, drill, and assemble components to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and safety procedures.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and company documents.
  • Strong basic math skills (including measurements and conversions).
  • Ability to accurately measure using tape measures, calipers, or other precision instruments.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to safely operate power and hand tools.
  • Knowledge of proper material handling and safety practices.
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs as needed.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Previous fabrication experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Checks scribe lines, making compound on parts before etching
  • Secure information on the rate of etch and the rate of immersion, quality, and temperature of
  • solution
  • Process parts and assemblies through the correct sequence of operation to acquire proper dimensions in accordance with schedules, specifications, etc.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting cause of discrepancies that occur most frequently such as etch pits, mask failures, etc.
  • Load and unload parts and assemblies from racks or holding devices
  • Perform any other functions in the area, such as masking, scribing, trimming etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to distinguish basic colors
  • Use hands to push, pull and grasp
