            <description><![CDATA[<div><span><strong>METER PROVER</strong></span></div><div><span>Monday - Friday&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>5:30 am - 2:30 pm</span></div><div><span>$21.64 per hour</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS&nbsp;</strong></span></div><div><br></div><ul type="disc"><li><span>Operate meter provers to test and calibrate liquid meters in crude oil and refined products</span></li><li><span>Determine K-factor (pulses per unit volume) and meter factor (adjustments for ambient conditions)</span></li><li><span>Verify linearity of meters across the calibrated flow range</span></li><li><span>Maintain accurate records of testing data, meter performance, and maintenance activities</span></li><li><span>Schedule customers for meter proving services</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</strong></span></div><div><br></div><ul type="disc"><li><span>Basic working knowledge of hand tools, computers, low-voltage electricity, and valve operations</span></li><li><span>Must reside within a 45-minute drive of Cross Plains, TX</span></li><li><span>Ability to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in emergencies; personal grooming and hygiene required</span></li><li><span>Responsible for maintaining all work-related equipment</span></li><li><span>Ability to perform heavy lifting (60&nbsp;</span><span>lb</span><span>, 4&rdquo;x20â hose with dry breaks on each end)</span></li><li><span>Willingness to travel and spend 2â3 nights per week away from home</span></li><li><span>Must be able to obtain a TWIC card</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div>]]></description>
